Old Ranch Road

The Old Ranch Road area offers residents the chance to escape the mini-metropolitan that is Park City in exchange for a more rural experience. While nestled just behind Park Meadows and across Highway 224 from Canyons Resort, this centrally located Park City neighborhood features wide open space and much of it is zoned equestrian. Several working ranches operate in the neighborhood’s interior while newer developments surround acres of privately owned pastures.

Shadow Mountain, Treasure Mountain Estates, Quarry Mountain Ranch, and Willow Creek Estates are new developments recently integrated into the Old Ranch Road area. These subdivisions offer elegant homes with luxury finishes. Homes within the original development are diverse, from modest ramblers to grand estates. A standout feature within the Old Ranch Road neighborhood is the sweeping view of Canyons Resort.

Bordering both the Swaner Nature Preserve and the Round Valley trail system gives Old Ranch Road some isolation from the hustle bustle found in town and at Kimball Junction, but the area still offers a sense of community. One of Park City’s most outstanding parks can be found in the heart of the neighborhood. Willow Creek Park features soccer fields, basketball & tennis courts, sand volleyball, children’s play equipment, climbing boulders, and a one acre pond. The park also serves as trailhead for the Snyderville Basin community trail system.
